State Representative Allen Fletcher serves the people of House District 130 in the Texas House. Elected in 2008, Allen is a Tomball businessman, community activist, Christian, devoted husband and loving father.

Allen graduated with honors from both the Houston Police Academy and the East Texas Police Academy. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in criminal justice from Sam Houston State University (SHSU). Allen proudly served in the Houston Police Department for 21 years and ended his service with HPD in 1998.

In addition to his work in law enforcement, he has been involved in the Tomball and Harris County communities for several years. He served as Chairman of the Board of the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of the Rotary Club of Tomball. Allen is a member of the Sam Houston State University Alumni Association Board of Directors, the President's Circle and also sponsors a scholarship for criminal justice at SHSU.  Allen has been married for 30 years to his lovely wife Penny, and they have two daughters and a son. They are also proud grandparents of two girls.
