Dan Flynn
As State Representative for the 2nd District, Dan Flynn represents the citizens of Hunt, Rains and Van Zandt Counties. He was elected to the Texas House of Representatives in 2003, with over 35 years experience in the banking and business industry under his belt.
Dan Flynn was chosen to serve on the State Affairs Committee in the 80th session by Speaker Tom Craddick and in 2006, he was inducted into the Texas National Guard. Flynn was also appointed to serve on the Sunset Commission, overseeing the operations of Texas' statewide commissions. Currently, Representative Flynn is the Vice Chairman of the Border and Intergovernmental Affairs Committee and is a member of the Pensions, Investments and Financial Services Committee.
Representative Flynn, a cattle rancher and businessman, lives in Van, Texas with his wife Susan.
